In these Terms, the following words have the meanings set out below.

Unique Sri Lanka Tours / we / us

Unique Sri Lanka Tours, operated by MAC Travels, the chauffeur-driven travel operator running this platform in Sri Lanka.

You / guest

Anyone who browses, requests a quote from, or books through the platform.

Booking

A confirmed, paid reservation for a vehicle, tour, excursion, or hotel night.

Quote

The live price built as you set your trip's dates, route, vehicle and accommodation, before checkout.

Hotel partner

A property we've contracted to hold rooms for guests booking through us.

Custom request

A no-payment enquiry for a trip our booking flows can't build on their own.

By browsing this site or making a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the platform to book.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time you make a booking is the one that applies to it.

For airport transfers, car hire, day tours, round tours, excursions and restaurant & shopping trips, the vehicle and chauffeur are provided directly by Unique Sri Lanka Tours — we're not reselling someone else's driver.

For hotel nights, we book the room with the property on your behalf. The stay itself — the room, the amenities, the service — is the hotel partner's responsibility, though we handle the reservation, confirmation and any changes for you.

You don't need an account to book. Guest checkout is the default path for every trip on this site. Creating an account is optional and mainly useful if you want your past bookings in one place.

If you do create one, you're responsible for keeping your login details to yourself and for anything booked under your account.

While you're building a trip, the price you see updates live as you add days, change a vehicle, or move an overnight stop. That figure is an estimate until checkout.

Before you're asked to pay, we re-check the price against our current rates and re-check availability for every vehicle and hotel night involved. If anything has changed since you started building your trip, you'll be shown exactly what and asked to confirm before anything is charged — never charged on a stale number.

A booking only exists once payment is confirmed and you've received a booking reference by email.

If your trip doesn't fit our standard booking flows — a larger group, an off-list destination, a longer route — you can send a custom request instead. No payment is taken at this stage. You'll receive a reference and an acknowledgement, and a member of our team will follow up with a quote directly.

Prices are charged in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR). Where a US dollar figure is shown, it's a reference conversion only — the rupee amount is what's actually charged.

Payment is processed through PayCrop, our payment gateway. When you go to pay, your booking is created in a pending state first, so nothing is ever lost if the payment step fails partway through. Once the gateway confirms the result, your booking is marked confirmed or failed accordingly.

We don't store your card details on our servers — only the transaction reference and status returned by PayCrop.

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in full in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: vehicle bookings are free to cancel up to 7 days before departure, and hotel nights follow the terms of the specific property, shown to you before you pay.

You agree to:

• Give us accurate details — names, contact information, flight numbers, and party size.
• Make sure your party fits the vehicle you've booked, including children.
• Treat your chauffeur and any hotel staff with courtesy.
• Let us know as early as possible if your plans change.

We agree to:

• Provide a roadworthy vehicle and a licensed chauffeur for the trip you've booked.
• Send your chauffeur's name, vehicle and plate number, and a direct contact line before pickup.
• Tell you promptly if something on our end changes — a vehicle substitution, a delay, or a hotel conflict.
• Coordinate directly with hotel partners on your behalf for any changes to a booked stay.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We aren't liable for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, or for the independent acts of a hotel partner once you're on their property.

Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under Sri Lankan law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

The text, photography, itineraries and design on this site belong to Unique Sri Lanka Tours or our licensors. You're welcome to use the platform to plan and book a trip — copying or reusing our content elsewhere needs our written permission first.

Please don't:

• Submit fraudulent bookings or payment details.
• Scrape or data-mine the site without asking us first.
• Try to access parts of the platform you're not meant to see.
• Use the site for anything unlawful.

We rely on a handful of third parties to run this platform: PayCrop for payments, Google Maps for addresses and routing, and Resend for transactional email. Each operates under its own terms, and we're not responsible for outages or issues on their end, though we'll always try to keep you informed.

If something goes wrong, contact us first — most issues are resolved faster that way than through a formal complaint. These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any dispute that can't be resolved directly falls under the jurisdiction of the Sri Lankan courts.

We may revise these Terms occasionally to reflect changes to how the platform works. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
